Bridge Cranes


Bridge cranes are used when items are going to be lifted and moved from one point to another along one area. This type of crane is usually custom manufactured to meet the users needs. However there are some basic configurations available that can be more economical for the user. Lift heights and capacities are widely varied and available to suit any application. Bridge cranes can have two rails that mount to an existing structure with a cross beam for the movement of your trolley and hoist. Or they can be self supporting with upright beams that are mounted to the floor.

Gantry Cranes


Gantry crane, there are two types of this crane, there are fixed height and adjustable height. You can get these cranes in aluminum/steel to meet the needs of particular applications. Most of gantry cranes have two up-right beams and a cross beam and there are A frame legs with casters to make them mobile. This type of crane can be used for a variety of purposes ie., first common use in the producing industry is to move large molds, parts, and containers into and out of other equipment or workstations and others. Industrial applications often use this type of crane to move goods over short or long distances within a work area. The span on this type of crane is 8 - 20 feet. The fixed height gantry crane are usually 10 foot working height, and the adjustable cranes usually adjust 7 - 16 foot working heights. You can also have these cranes custom manufactured if your needs are out side these parameters.

Jib Cranes


Jib cranes can be fixed position or portable. Mobile jib cranes are on a cart with a counter balance to off set the load. This type usually comes in lower capacities and lifting heights since they are designed for one user to move items. The stationary jib cranes can come in two basic types. There is the single girder mast style that can have a fixed cross beam, or a cross beam that can be moved 360 degrees. The other type double girder can be set up similar to a bridge crane to be used over a workstation. The jib crane usually has a lift height ranging from 8 - 14 feet. The capacities usually go from 20kg - 3000kg. This type of crane can also be custom manufactured to meet specific needs.
